Manufactured from high-duration materials, the ‘Super Charge Ion-Battery’ can hold between 5,000 and 6,000 recharge cycles and it was designed to meet the requirements of the nowadays portable devices users.
The Japanese company says that once they are in the market, the SCiB will far exceed the benefits of existing lithium-ion batteries, because they will last longer, recharge faster and hold more recharge cycles than the actual ones.
While there are versions of these batteries operating in industrial applications since last year, its marketing on a large scale in laptops, desktops or even on mobile new generation will have to wait.
