Nintendo, one of the world’s leading game console manufacturer, is set to release the newest accessory for its popular gaming console called the Wii MotionPlus which the company claims will erase all previous dilemma about the motion-sensitivity precision of the device.
According to Nintendo, the new Wii MotionPlus will take players to a whole new level of gaming as the company fitted the cube-shaped gadget with the latest motion-sensing or motion-capture controls to give users a “real” feel of the games.
In an interview, Nintendo Corporate Affairs Vice President Denise Kaigler said that the new Wii MotionPlus was retrofitted with “gyroscopic” sensors which is the same technology used by airplanes to level itself to the ground to mimic the players’ exact hand movements.
Kaigler also said that the precise wrist-flick mimic of the new device can now treat gamers to a “real life deal” and more exciting games such as disc throwing, sword fighting, and even golf.
Meanwhile, Jason Shenkman, the senior producer of the popular “Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10”, gave his testament to the accuracy of the new device. He said that the inclusion of the gyroscopic sensor to the controls of the device has given players news benefits in playing the games.
In a related development, the official revealed that the new “Tiger Woods series” will be the very first game that will be bundled with the new Wii MotionPlus. In their test results, Shenkman said that the hyper-sensitivity of the Wii makes it easier for gamers to play as is gives instant feedback in every shot.
Meanwhile, Kaigler said that around five games have already been confirmed to use the new technology, adding that more than 30 million owners are expected to buy the new accessory in the initial launch.
