New Sony Ericsson Android Phone Leaked

Despite being labeled top secret, Photos of the new Sony Ericsson Android phone has leaked. However, company executives are keeping their mouth shut on the details and features of the said phone.

Photos of the new SE android phone were earlier posted by Danish website.
According to reports, the top-secret mobile phone was code-named Rachael. It was set to be launched later in 2009.

According to the Danish reports, the phone was an extension of XPERIA series, a SE mobile phone series that runs under Windows Mobile X1. The phone was also reportedly based on the new technology called Qualcomm Snapdragon platform or QSD8250. The new processor can give the phone speeds of up to 1GHz and an HSPA downlink speed of 7.2Mbit per second.

An 8.1 megapixel camera with smile capture and autofocus capabilities was also shown in the leaked pictures. It also has a powerful xenon flash.

Another impressive feature of the phones was its music playing capability as shown in its 3.5mm headphone jack and miniUSB port. But reports can not conclude on the interface size and resolution quality, which is expected to go out of chart.

The Danish website revealed that the android phone will have a touchscreen.

In comparison with the latest android phone in the market today, the new SE Rachael will dwarf its capabilities, especially with the camera features.

The Swedish phone manufacturer has earlier forged an agreement with Open Handset Alliance that would jumpstart the company’s run for the Android phone series.

Meanwhile, Rachael is reportedly running on Google’s version 2.0 Android Operating System for faster internet connection and web surfing. However, experts were not sure if the company will include the new Adobe Flash for mobile.
