Giant computer game maker EA announced on Thursday that popular PC game “Sims 3: World Adventure” is now coming to iPhone soon.
Just like in the full PC and Mac version of the game, iPhone users can now take their Sims 3: World Adventure game while they are on vacation.
However, EA is keeping mum over the date of release and the pricing of the iPhone game once it hit the Apple Application store.
According to the game maker, users’ characters in the game can do pretty much the same adventure they also do on their vacations. While enjoy the sun in Egypt, users can also command their characters to hike the Great Pyramids. While visiting China and France, they can also see museums and other sites or even relax in the coffee shops downtown.
And just like the PC and Mac version, EA has included various dangers and adventures for the characters to tackle.
EA said that there are about 52 new goals and four other mini-games that will be included in the iPhone application. The mini-games, according to the company, can be unlocked every time players complete a set of challenges.
EA said that the new game-play areas were designed to give users more excitement and variety of towns to go than those that can be visited in the Original PC and Mac versions of the games.
Meanwhile, the gaming company said that users can have access to fashion for their characters with new lines of clothing, furniture, and types of faces that would make game time worthwhile.
While iPhone users would like to have the new Sims 3 as free update on the Apple App Store, EA said that the title is good enough to be offered as a separate release to the original game.
The company also said that users who already have the original iPhone release, they can now transfer their characters to the new game to avoid starting their adventure in the beginning of the game-play.
Since its first release to iPhone, the Sims franchise was able to sold millions of downloads, making it one of the ten most popular games for 2009.
